Personal Bio

Dr. Clark has been practicing in the Ottawa area since graduating from Ontario Veterinary College, and has practiced at Alta Vista Animal Hospital for six years. Dr. Clark is a family veterinarian who occasionally covers weekend emergency shifts. Her interests include preventative health maintenance for pets of all ages, dermatology and internal medicine.

She loves to meet new "furry" family members, watch them grow up and care for them throughout their lifetime. Watching a pet recover from an injury or illness and the joy that this brings to the pet's family is one of the most rewarding parts of her job. Dr. Clark is also committed to lifelong learning, and attends continuing education lectures to keep informed of current research and therapies.

Outside of the hospital, Dana occupies herself with raising her two rambunctious boys, and caring for 2 cats, 17 fish and of course, her husband. Dana enjoys knitting, music, downhill skiing, baking/cooking, gardening and redecorating her home.
